Report: Tom Brady Was Dealing With A Second Injury Late In Season

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed the chance to win another ring. The New England Patriots were eliminated from the postseason, and we aren’t really used to seeing the defending champions lost a playoff game. No one is. What led to this loss? Most analysts agree that the Patriots failed this season because they were plagued with injuries. When it comes to injuries, it looks like TB12 suffered a second injury late in the season.

Brady was first added to the injury report in November. He suffered an elbow injury, and that added additional pressure to the weak offense. TB12 also admitted he’d suffered another elbow injury in December. He kept telling everyone that his elbow was fine and that it didn’t affect his game on the field. In December, Brady said that he didn’t have an injury.

A recent report from NFL insider Mike Giardi reveals something else. Apparently, Brady had another problem. The quarterback suffered a foot injury in December.

We also noticed that the quarterback wore different cleats than his usual footwear in the late-season loss to the Miami Dolphins which was sort of affected by the foot injury.

New England is out of the big game now, and they are off to the next season. The team has already signed seven players from their practice squad, including Obi Melifonwu. He will be given a chance to earn a spot on the roster. The Patriots have big plans for the next season, but they have to solve one major problem at the moment. Tom Brady’s contract.

Brady is set to hit free agency in March, and both he and Robert Kraft are interested in adding another chapter to the story. Of course, Brady will have to maintain his good health and great shape to accomplish that. He has a new home, but he said that this move has nothing to do with his career. Brady likes the Patriots, and he really likes the way this team works. Hopefully, he will re-sign with the Pats and help them win a few more titles. He can play until 47, remember?
