Lou Williams Reacts To Stephen A. Smith’s Rumor About Kawhi And LeBron

Stephen A. Smith spread a rumor about Lakers superstar LeBron James and Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard. Now we have Clippers shooting guard Lou Williams has something to say about this rumor.

Smith reported on ESPN’s First Take on Wednesday that Kawhi said, “Someone tell LeBron to stop being scared to guard me!”

“I’m not sure,” Williams said. “I just know I’ve never heard him say anything close to that about anybody. He just competes.”

The Clippers are 2-0 against LeBron’s team in the regular season. Kawhi dominated LeBron in the first two meetings between their teams. The two-time Finals MVP is averaging 32.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists against the Lakers while shooting 55.3 percent from the field, 50.0 percent from beyond the arc and 94.4 percent from the free-throw line.

LeBron has some great numbers, too. He averages 20.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 9.0 assists against the Clippers and shooting just 37.2 percent from the floor, 17.6 percent from the 3-point line and 75.0 percent from the charity stripe.

LeBron and his Lakers missed the NBA playoffs last season. However, things changed this season, and the Lakers have full control over the Western Conference playoff race at this point. The addition of Anthony Davis was a big deal for the Lakers, and he is helping LeBron at the moment. He helps him win games and usually leads the team in points.

LeBron is the best player in the NBA and he doesn’t even think of leaving the throne. Leonard led the Toronto Raptors to their first-ever title last season, and doubters used this to say that Leonard is the new king. That’s absolutely wrong. LeBron is the king and everyone knows it.

The rivalry between the Lakers and Clippers is still alive, and things got really hot now. LeBron arrived in town to help the Lakers win a title. It looks like Kawhi arrived in Los Angeles for the same purpose. Let’s see what happens by the end of the season. It’s a big season for both teams, and both superstars are confident about their strength on the floor. It’s a big game!
