Boston Radio Host Calls Shocking Quarterback To Replace Tom Brady

The New England Patriots will have to think of a replacement for Tom Brady in case he decides to retire in March. The quarterback is set to become a free agent, but his Instagram post indicates that he is ready show everyone that he has so much to offer. What will happen if Brady decides to sign with a different team? A Boston radio host has an option for the Patriots.

Well, we don’t really think he made a smart choice.

Sports radio firebrand Michael Felger of the Felger & Mazz show on 98.5 The Sports Hub goes with Eli Manning.

Manning’s time as a starter for the team is over, and he was replaced with rookie Daniel Jones. Of course, he has an option to return as a veteran backup. But, we believe that Manning is in no way interested to be quarterback No.2 for the Giants or any other team.

Manning is past his primetime, but the radio host suggests that he can be an affordable stop-gap option for the Patriots if Brady goes away.

Patriots fans dismissed this idea, but co-host Tony Massarotti said he had the same idea on his mind. Manning isn’t a favorite in New England. The Patriots nation doesn’t like him after Manning defeated TB12 and the Pats in two Super Bowls.

According to Felger, Manning is the only veteran quarterback that fits his criteria.

“There is only one veteran name on there where I sorta stop and go, ‘I wouldn’t hate the idea of it. There’s only one veteran name on that list where I would go, ‘I bet Bill (Belichick) could win with him.’ Eli.”

“Like what if he came in real cheap? What if Eli Manning came to you dirt cheap, and $5 million for him is dirt cheap. I just pulled that number out of my ass, I don’t know, maybe $7 million. What if Eli Manning came to you for under $10 million?”

Jarrett Stidham is waiting in line, but the Patriots won’t use him as a starter because he has so much to learn. Andy Dalton is on his way out of Cincinnati, too.
