Photos: First Look At The Uniforms For Space Jam 2

Yes – we have the uniforms!

We have been hoping for a sequel to the amazing Space Jam since we saw the movie. Space Jam 2 has been in the talks for years now with various NBA players’ names about as possible leads.

It’s now been 24 years since the original Space Jam starring Michael Jordan alongside Bill Murray, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Tyrone Bogues, Shawn Bradley and Larry Johnson hit theaters.

Space Jam 2 will see LeBron James in the lead role this time. James will be joined by other NBA players like Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, Klay Thompson, Kyle Kuzma, and Russell Westbrook. Some WNBA stars like Diana Taurasi and Chiney and Nneka Ogwumike will also be in the sequel.

The movie is being produced by Black Panther director Ryan Coogler. It will also feature some actual actors like Don Cheadle, Sonequa Martin-Green as Savannah James, Ceyair J. Wright as LeBron “Bronny” James Jr.

And now we’ve got our first look at the uniforms the Tune Squad and the Monstars will be wearing. The premiere is scheduled for July 16, 2021.

Nike is already coming up with a special LeBron 17s in the Monstars colors for NBA All-Star Weekend.
