Brad Marchand Makes Prediction On What Will Happen If Tom Brady Leaves Patriots

Tom Brady’s retirement is the hottest topic these days. The New England Patriots are out of the playoff run. They lost the wild-card match to the Tennessee Titans, and some fans say this loss will help Brady make a decision on his future with the Patriots. If you ask Brad Marchand, he will say that the Patriots need Brady.

Marchand was asked Monday about TB12 and his future with the Patriots now that they have been out from the playoff run. Brady is set to hit free agency in March and he has never been in a similar situation.

The Bruins winger has all the respect for TB12 and made a bold prediction regarding Brady and the Patriots.

“He’s obviously the best quarterback to ever play. The guy is a legend. He’s won them six championships. He’s a hell of a quarterback and I’m sure he’s got a few seasons left in him,” Marchand told reporters, per NBC Sports Boston. “We’d love to see him back. He’s part of this city. It would be pretty tough to see him in any other jersey and I can pretty much guarantee he’d come back to bite everybody in the butt (if he left). So hopefully he’s back next year.”

Brady has spent his entire professional career in Foxboro and became the best quarterback in the NFL. Seeing him play in a different uniform would be tough for every Patriots fan. Some have already linked him to the Los Angeles Chargers. Truth is, every team has a quarterback, and they don’t really need one. Brady will turn 43 in August, and this will surely affect the situation.

According to Rodney Harrison, Brady’s decision is linked to his relationship with head coach Bill Belichick.

Belichick and Brady have won six Lombardi Trophies together, and they are ready for a few more. The head coach is at the end of his professional career, but he hasn’t made any comments on his retirement.

Brady doesn’t think of retiring at this point, so he will either re-sign with New England or go somewhere else. He likes the Patriots, remember?
