Isiah Thomas Has A Message For LeBron After ‘The King’ Passed Him On All-Time Assist List

Lakers superstar LeBron James has reclaimed his throne. That’s what he promised to do after ESPN and Sports Illustrated ranked him third on the lists. The king continues to cement his legacy, and he has just passed Isiah Thomas on the all-time assist list. The former Detroit Pistons guard is more than happy for LeBron that he is making such an improvement. He congratulated the superstar for his incredible achievement.

The Hall of Fame point guard took to his Twitter to congratulate the king of basketball for taking over his spot in the all-time assist list.

Thomas spent time as the general manager for the New York Knicks. He was more than happy that the Lakers superstar managed to surpass his number. Thomas even told LeBron to celebrate with the champagne the NBA Players’ Association owns.

We can really understand why Thomas was happy with LeBron’s success. The 35-year-old forward plays as if he is still in his 20s. That’s a great achievement. LeBron has continued to defy everyone’s expectations. This happened when everyone predicted him to experience a drop in his performance.

The Lakers superstar has an incredible season, and his season averages are incredible. LeBron is averaging 25.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 10.7 assists a game. You can easily mistake these numbers for a player who is in his prime. If you ask analysts, they will all say that LeBron is in his primetime, and that’s the best compliment a player can ever have. This milestone will give LeBron enough motivation to focus on his passing game.

LeBron had an incredible performance in the Lakers’ win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. This win put LeBron ahead of Thomas. He finished the game with an amazing 31 points, two rebounds, and eight assists on 75% field goal percentage.

The king of basketball may pass Oklahoma City Thunder teammate and good friend Chris Paul on the list. LeBron is playing at a good rate and he will sure help the team win a title this season. He is off to a good season and a title. This is his best time and best game.
