Julian Edelman Gives Simple Description On Patriots’ Mood Ahead Of Titans Game

Quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots couldn’t finish the regular season with an easy win over the Miami Dolphins. Many thought this would be an easy bite for the defending Super Bowl champions, but they couldn’t finish the season with a win. This loss put the Patriots in the wild-card round game, and they are hosting the Tennessee Titans. Although the Pats are playing this game for the first time since 2009, the team is more than positive. Wideout Julian Edelman has something to say about it.

Patriots players are no spring chicken when it comes to January football. When asked about the mood in the locker room, Edelman provided a pretty simple response. The page has been turned, and you can tell that by his response.

Some players may not join the Pats against the Titans

New England has released an injury report, and Edelman is one of the six players listed as questionable for Saturday’s game. He has no problem playing through pain, and he has already done that. Fellow wideout Mohamed Sanu is impressed with his strength. Pretty much every Patriot knows that Edelman is a warrior. Injuries? No problem! The situation is under control.

Linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley (knee), Terrence Brooks (groin), linebacker Jamie Collins (shoulder) Edelman (knee/shoulder), cornerback Jonathan Jones (groin), and cornerback Jason McCourty (groin) are listed as questionable.

McCourty and Brooks missed the game against Miami. The former has played just eight defensive snaps since the Week 10 match. New England had perfect attendance at all three sessions this week. Brady’s favorite target has spent almost an entire season on the injury report due to multiple ailments. In his most recent radio interview, Edelman said he feels “better than (he has) in the last few weeks.”

Tennessee ruled wide receiver Adam Humphries out due to an ankle injury. He has not played with the team since the Week 13 game. Wideouts Kalif Raymond (concussion) and Cody Hollister (ankle) and safety Dane Cruikshank (illness) are listed as questionable for the Titans.

It will be an easy game, but the Patriots have to be careful. Tennessee has a weakness, and the Patriots have to use it.
