LeBron James Makes History, Passes Isiah Thomas On NBA’s All-Time Assist List

Lakers superstar LeBron James keeps hitting records, and this time he jumped up on the NBA’s all-time assists list. King James passed Hall of Famer Detroit Pistons legend Isaiah Thomas for sole possession of eighth place during the game against his former team the Cleveland Cavaliers.

LeBron finished the game with 31 points on a 12-of-16 from the field, with eight dimes and a couple of rebounds.

“One of the best point guards this game has ever seen. And one of the toughest as well. Just his upbringing, coming from Chicago, doing the things he was able to do on the floor. From Indiana going to the Bad Boys in Detroit, just setting the tone for what he wanted his career to be…Anytime I’m linked with the greats, and ‘Zeke being one of those, it’s just an honor, and I think back to my childhood and where I’m from.”

LeBron talked about this amazing feat after the game. He has already changed the list this season. He passed Gary Payton in the 111-104 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 19. King James leads the Los Angeles Lakers with 10.7 assists per game.

“I think it’s an incredible thing, what we have right now, as far as chemistry and as far as guys always being ready no matter who’s in the lineup and tonight was another example of that,” LeBron said.

His last title came with the Cavaliers in 2016, and it’s more than obvious that LeBron is ready to give the team another big win. He is ready to help them win a title.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Chris Paul owns the seventh place. Let’s not forget that he is LeBron’s banana-boat friend.

The Los Angeles Lakers have an incredible season, and LeBron will lead them to a title. He’s been receiving a lot of help from Anthony Davis and the rest of the team. The Lakers played without LeBron and Davis, and Rajon Rondo led the team to a win. Let’s hope they will keep winning games. It’s a big season for the king and his teammates. It’s time for a title.
