LeBron Posts Triple-Double As Lakers Block 20 Shots Vs. Pistons

The Los Angeles Lakers added another win to their basket. The team defeated Detroit Pistons. LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the rest of the players blocked 20 shots which is one shy of the team mark set against the Denver Nuggets on April 9, 1982.

LeBron James scored 21 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists in his ninth triple-double of the season. Los Angeles won the fifth consecutive game.

Davis recorded 24 points, 11 rebounds and a season-best eight blocked shots to help the team register a 106-99 victory over Detroit on Sunday night.

Derrick Rose scored 28 points and reserve Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk added 14 points for their team. The team lost for the ninth time in the past 11 games. Langston Galloway recorded 13 points, Andre Drummond had 12 points, 18 rebounds and four blocked shots, while Sekou Doumbouya and Christian Wood scored 11 points apiece.

Detroit trailed by nine at half-time and finally took the lead for the first time all night when their Mykhailiuk hit a three-pointer to make it 76-74 with 1:22 left in the third quarter of the game. Galloway made a five-point margin with 59.3 seconds left.

The Lakers scored the final point of the third quarter to trail 79-75 and came for the first 15 of the fourth quarter. Rajon Rondo’s lay-up tied the score and Caruso scored five points in 27 seconds to give Los Angeles an 88-79 advantage with 8:34 left to play.

Rose’s score pulled the Pistons within 98-97 with 1:52 left. Lakers’ Davis hit a corner three and had a score on a lay-up with 32.5 seconds left of the game. Drummond was called for goaltending on the latter shot – as Los Angeles took a six-point lead en route to finish the game.

LeBron and the team are on a good way to win a title with the team. They are playing really well, and this season is much better than the last one. Hopefully, they will stay healthy to win this season with a title.
