LeBron Reacts To 118-119 Loss Against The Orlando Magic

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game to the Orlando Magic, and the 118-119 loss broke their nine-game winning streak. It was an unexpected loss, but it happened. LeBron James recorded a double-double on Wednesday’s night game.

LeBron finished the game with 19 points (7/19 FG, 2/9 3PT, 3/5 FT), three rebounds, 19 assists and one steal. He saw 36 minutes of action in the loss against the Orlando Magic at Staples Center, and Anthony Davis wasn’t part of the squad. King James missed a tying 3 with 3 seconds left of the game.

Los Angeles dropped to 33-8, and Orlando improved to 20-21. LeBron talked about the loss after the game.

“Our bench is the reason there was a game at the end,” he said.

The Magic played without D.J. Augustin, Michael Carter-Willams and Evan Fournier. They all missed the game against the Lakers. Playing without two of the team’s three-point guards wasn’t the most ideal scenario for the Magic.

Orlando was in a position to win the game. LeBron and his team rushed back into the game after trailing by 21 points in the third quarter of the match. They had the lead, and it looked like they would break against the weight from King James and his 19 assists.

Everything changed quickly, and Orlando regained the rhythm. Nikola Vucevic made a few great shots after missing a few shots in the game.

Aaron Gordon rushed through the lane for a one-handed move over JaVale McGee drawing the foul. Orlando had a few key players on the floor at Staples Center. Gordon and Markelle Fultz helped the team win the game.

Fultz took it right at LeBron on several occasions in the game. He attacked the paint and made a spinning shot over McGee to give his team a four-point lead. LeBron had a three to seal the gap. Fultz finished the game and completed a triple-double performance. Yes, he had the final assist on a needed 3-pointer from Nikola Vucevic late.

It was a long night, and the Lakers lost the game. Hopefully, they will fix the damage next time.
