Patriots Release Full List Of Inactives Vs. Titans

The New England Patriots will play their wild-card round game against the Tennessee Titans, and they have released their list of inactives. The defending champions are almost completely healthy for the first-round playoff game against Tennessee.

Six of seven players listed as inactive for New England are healthy scratches. Two of these players are rookie players. Five of six players listed as questionable in Thursday’s injury report are active. Patriots cornerback Jason McCourty is the only player to miss this game due to an injury.

QB Cody Kessler

RB Damien Harris

TE Ryan Izzo

OL Jermaine Eleumunor

OT Korey Cunningham

DT Byron Cowart

CB Jason McCourty (groin)

Rookie fourth-round pick Jarrett Stidham will support quarterback Tom Brady. Sony Michel, Rex Burkhead, James White, and Brandon Bolden will play at running back. Ben Watson and Matt LaCosse will take their tight end position. Marshall Newhouse and James Ferentz will support left tackle Isaiah Wynn, Joe Thuney, Ted Karras, Shaq Mason, and Marcus Cannon.

New England will consider spicing up their defensive line with tackles Lawrence Guy, Danny Shelton, Adam Butler, and Deatrich Wise.

Terrence Brooks is joining the team after missing the Week 17 game due to a groin injury. Rookie Joejuan Williams will play as McCourty is out at the moment. Brooks may see more action against Titans tight end Jonnu Smith. Stephon Gilmore, JC Jackson, and Jonathan Jones are starting at cornerback.

This is a really important game for the Patriots nation. They haven’t played a wild-card round game since 2009, and things are pretty tricky at the moment. Most analysts agree that the defending champions will win this game, but doubters say Brady and Co. will lose the playoff match. These are usually people who forget that the Patriots’ offense surprised the Buffalo Bills a couple of weeks ago.

Tonight is a big night for the Patriots, and Julian Edelman said they are hungry. Will this hunger disappear at the end of the game? If they win, they will suit up for a game against the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s game-day, and we can’t wait to see the final result.
