Watch: Anthony Davis Reaches Back And Throws Insane Alley-Oop Jam Vs. Pelicans

Anthony Davis came to Los Angeles with the only goal to help the team win a title. It looks like he is doing his best to help the team win this championship. Davis’ former team didn’t have much luck against the Lakers. Davis pulled out an incredible alley-oop, and this proves his greatness.

Davis scored 46 points and 13 rebounds while going a perfect 13-13 from the free-throw line in the brilliant 123-113 win over New Orleans.

Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart were honored with a warm tribute video, but that’s pretty much the only good part about their return to LA. The Pelicans were “destroyed.”

Davis finished the first quarter with 12 points, and Green had the best start of the game. He scored 17 points in the first quarter and hit five of his first six threes. Green finished the game with 25 points. He doesn’t really pull out a game like this quite often, but when he does, opponents have no chance against the Lakers.

However, the Lakers struggled during LeBron’s minutes out of the game. Rajon Rondo made a few mistakes and Alex Caruso was out due to a calf injury. Rondo was a team-low -19 in plus-minus/

Lakers Head Coach Frank Vogel and LeBron say they aren’t worried about those stretches with him sitting on the bench, but this failure will change their mind.

Replacing LeBron when he sits is quite a challenge. He does a lot of work on the floor, and the offense makes mistakes without him. Los Angeles has to find a solution to this gap.

Well, it’s not like we have too much to complain about. The Lakers are 28-7 at this point of the season, and they actually extended their latest winning streak to four games. They are very good at the moment, and it’s more than obvious that they are trying to hit their full potential. LeBron and Davis make the perfect duo, but Vogel has to think of a few more formulas to keep the rest of the players engaged. It’s a big season for LA, remember that.
