Watch: Julian Edelman Runs For A 5-Yard TD

The New England Patriots will try to defeat the Tennessee Titans at Gillette Stadium. Is Julian Edelman saving this game?

The superstar wideout hasn’t been targeted in the playoff game, but he just put his team ahead with a 5-yard touchdown.

Sony Michel helped the team set up a score with his 25-yard dash off tackle that came right after the blocks from Elandon Roberts, Isaiah Wynn and N’Keal Harry.

Mohamed Sanu and Ben Watson had one 11-yard reception apiece, and James White rushed around the left end to pick up 14 yards on fourth-and-2.

Defensive players followed this up by forcing a three-and-out after a good tackle by Joejuan Williams on the kickoff. Adam Buttler’s pass on third-and-3 pushed the first punt of the match. Safety Patrick Chung suffered an ankle injury but he is questionable to return.

The Titans have a lot of luck and talent. Derrick Henry moves his team downfield, and that’s exactly what he did on the first possess. He carried the ball seven times for 49 yards against the Patriots’ base defense with minor completions to Jonnu Smith, Tajae Sharpe and MyCole Pruitt added in.

On third-and-10 from New England’s 12-yard line, tight end Anthony Firkser defeated man coverage against Terrence Brooks for the first touchdown of the playoff game.

Brooks sat out the last game due to a groin injury. He was in the game because Chung suffered an injury a game later. He walked out of the team with the help of New England’s medical staff.

Stephon Gilmore and A.J. Brown had to be separated after one play. Gilmore doesn’t shadow Brown.

Things are pretty messy at Gillette Stadium, and the Patriots are doing their best to win this playoff game. This should’ve been a day off for the team, but they lost the game to the Miami Dolphins. The situation is serious, but the defending champions have everything under control. How will this game end for New England? It’s tough, but the Patriots will win. That’s what almost every analyst says. Brady is healthy, and Edelman is here to support him on the field.
