January 12, 2020
Julian Edelman shocked everyone with his latest move. It wasn’t a move. It was a jump on someone’s Mercedes. The Patriots wideout was arrested, and he is now making headlines. Edelman got out after a few hours, but he didn’t went home. Go to Instagram and you will see what was he up to. Paul Pierce has it all.
Edelman was arrested Saturday night for vandalism in Beverly Hills. He was cited for a misdemeanor and released by police officers. We don’t know if he will be charged for his misdemeanor.
According to TMZ Sports, Edelman was apprehended around 9 p.m. PT. This happened two hours before appearing in a video on Pierce’s story.
That’s not all. Edelman appeared in another post. Former Patriots receiver Danny Amendola appeared in the post, too.
We don’t know whether the photo was posted before or after the arrest. Some say Paul Pierce made the video before the arrest and posted it later in the night. We can’t really make any statement on this, and we are waiting for more details on the incident.
Ian Rapoport from NFL Network also reported that the Patriots wideout was briefly arrested and cited for misdemeanor vandalism before being released. Los Angeles police noticed that Edelman has been drinking in the lead up to the arrest. He will appear in court on April 13.
Edelman was in Los Angeles a week after the New England Patriots wild card loss to the Tennessee Titans. The wideout was able to catch just three passes for 30 yards in the 20-13 loss. He scored a rushing touchdown in an end-around on the second quarter of the game. Edelman led the Patriots with 100 catches in the regular season.
Edelman has a lot of problems at the moment, and he will also undergo surgeries to heal his shoulder and knee. The wideout will receive a knee scope and a surgery to fit the AC joint in his shoulder as confirmed by Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald.
Let’s see what happens with Edelman and his charges. Hopefully, this arrest won’t give him additional problems.
