Watch: Patriots’ Gilmore Grab Two Interceptions In Pro Bowl Skills Showdown

NFL quarterbacks know that Stephon Gilmore plays at a high level. If they aren’t aware of this, Gilmore provided some more evidence. The New England Patriots’ Pro Bowl cornerback was active in the first-ever ‘Thread the Needle’ challenge in the league’s Pro Bowl Skills Showdown on Thursday night.

Would you be surprised to hear that Gilmore snatched two interceptions? Of course not.

Gilmore and Minkah Fitzpatrick of the Pittsburgh Steelers intercepted three passes against NFC quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins. This didn’t help much and the NFC won the match. Gilmore had an interception against Wilson and Cousins.

The Patriots cornerback also participated in the dodgeball challenge. The AFC won. Gilmore and Patriots special teams captain Matthew Slater will play for the AFC in the Pro Bowl on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Orlando.

Gilmore’s talent is fit for the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown

The Patriots cornerback had a good chance to be selected as the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year, but he didn’t even think of this option. According to him, that’s a big award. He made the comments after the practice at the Pro Bowl. Stephon said the award speaks for itself, and players have to do a lot of hard work to earn it. He sure worked like crazy, and his teammates helped him hit this spot. He prepared really good, noting that he wouldn’t have done this without his teammates. Gilmore had an excellent season, and he hoped to win the big award.

Gilmore is well aware of his powers, and he plays at a high level. Being able to snatch this incredible award is amazing. He had an incredible season, but his powers weren’t enough for the Patriots to win a Super Bowl. He had a lot of highlights throughout the season, but he needed help from his teammates to turn his efforts into something huge.

New England has a lot of talented players, but head coach Bill Belichick will have to change his winning formula. He has to cut and sign a few players. Will Tom Brady return to Foxboro for another season? It’s a hot offseason for every NFL team, including the New England Patriots.
