Watch: Bill Belichick Flashes Rings In Response To Boos At Super Bowl Ceremony

Can you imagine that there are people who don’t like New England Patriots? Apparently, Kansas City Chiefs fans weren’t too happy to see Patriots head coach Bill Belichick on the Super Bowl ceremony.

Belichick was greeted with boos in a pregame ceremony at Super Bowl LIV honoring the NFL 100 team. Joining Belichick were also Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and former New England players Rob Gronkowski, Randy Moss, Adam Vinatieri, John Hannah and Mike Haynes.

In response to the booing, Belichick smiled, flashed his rings and drew a laugh from the crowd.

Belichick was one of few members of the NFL 100 team to receive a solo introduction. The players were introduced in groups, depending on their position in the team.

This wasn’t the only occasion a member of the New England Patriots to receive boos during Super Bowl ceremony. Brady has also been booed during a pregame ceremony for game MVPs at Super Bowl 50.

While he isn’t coaching in this one, Belichick continues to be part of the Super Bowl festivities. The main question for Patriots fans is if Sunday’s pregame is the last time he will share a Super Bowl field with Tom Brady, who is slated to become a free agent when the NFL’s new year begins on Mar. 18.

Tribute To NBA Legend Kobe Bryant

The Super Bowl LIV pregame ceremony featured a tribute to NBA legend Kobe Bryant who lost his life last weekend in a helicopter crash.

Prior to kickoff, NFL officials held a moment of silence for Bryant and the other victims. They also honored Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Chris Doleman, who died at age 58 last week following a bout with cancer. Members of the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs lined up on the 24-yard line in honor of Bryant, who wore that number during his NBA career.
