Magic Johnson respects LeBron

In his first season as a Laker, LeBron averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 55 games while shooting 51.0 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from beyond the arc and 66.5 percent from the free-throw line. The king of basketball missed 17 consecutive games due to a terrible groin injury. He suffered the injury in the game against the Golden State Warriors.

Had he stayed healthy, the Lakers would probably make the playoffs. LeBron missed the playoffs last season for the first time since 2005, and he used the break to get ready for the big challenge. He was focused on winning games, and we can see the results.

The Lakers made a really good decision at the moment they went after Anthony Davis. He was the perfect addition to the roster, and he helps LeBron win games. With Davis by his side, LeBron averages 25.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 10.8 assists per game. Los Angeles is 41-12 at the moment, and they are ready for the big playoff run. LeBron and Davis will take care of that.

LeBron is an All-Star starter for Sunday’s All-Star Game. We will enjoy his show at the United Center.

The Lakers should use the All-Star break to get ready for the next game against the Memphis Grizzlies. They have a long way to go, and hopefully, LeBron will stay healthy. Every player on the Lakers roster is important at this stage of the season.
