The Hall of Famer also likes the fact that LeBron is averaging almost close to 30 points per game every night. According to him, the king is having an MVP-type season.

LeBron is going for his fifth NBA MVP. But, things won’t go that easy for LeBron. Odds Shark has the latest odds. Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo stands at -125 and he is the favorite. Luka Doncic goes with +375 and James Harden has +550. LeBron is behind them at +800.

Magic Johnson likes what LeBron James and Davis bring to the floor

Johnson has won five titles and was named an All-Star on 12 occasions. His skillset helped him revolutionize the point guard position. LeBron has always had an incredible passing skill, but Johnson has noticed more similarities of late between him and the king.

“Now he’s really truly playing the point guard. He was point-forward before,” Johnson said. “I think we do play similar and we have similar ways in terms of coming down and making our teammates better. We won championships the same way. Our games are much alike, especially now that the ball is in his hands most of the time now as a real, true point guard.”

LeBron is eighth on the all-time assists list. He will get a chance to pass Magic Johnson and hit the top five. Johnson’s record goes at 10,141.

The Hall of Famer is also impressed with Anthony Davis. He is the perfect addition to the roster. Johnson tried to get Davis before the trade deadline last season, but it didn’t work really well. Today, Davis is a Laker, and he is averaging 26.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. According to Johnson, LeBron and Davis make the best duo.
