Mark Wahlberg Weighs In On Tom Brady’s Free Agency Decision

Mark Wahlberg is a diehard Patriots fan. He is one of the many celebrities to make a prediction on Tom Brady’s free agency decision. Wahlberg appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and shared his thoughts on Brady.

Wahlberg said that he’d keep rooting for Brady even if he leaves New England this offseason. The actor doesn’t know anything about Brady’s decision, but he believes that the quarterback has an idea of what he wants to do next.

“I think he has an idea of what he wants to do, and I want him to do whatever is best for him and his family,” Wahlberg said. “Like I said, he’s brought us so much joy. I’ve taken my son to games and spent time with him.”

When asked if he thought TB12 would stay with the Patriots, Wahlberg said “it would be nice.”

“I think it would be nice, but again, if he wants to go elsewhere, I’ll root him on wherever he goes.”

What does Mark Wahlberg think of Tom Brady’s next move?

Would Wahlberg like to see the GOAT sign with the Los Angeles Rams?

“Hopefully the Patriots will be smart enough to sign him,” the actor said. “I think if not, the Raiders, obviously, are an option. If he goes to Mike Vrabel, who already has a good team in Tennessee… He’s going to want to go somewhere he can win. [Rams quarterback] Jared Goff is secure in his job, so I don’t think… I think maybe the Chargers.”

He promised to let Brady stay at his Los Angeles home if he signed with the Chargers. It was a joke, of course. “But I don’t think he’s hurting for rent money,” Wahlberg added.

Kimmel also asked Wahlberg if TB12 likes him or Matt Damon better. He said, “Me.”

“I actually put him in a movie,” Wahlberg reminded the host. “We immortalized him in Ted 2. We made it seem like he has a golden penis. I mean, come on.”

Brady will have to make a bold decision this time, and Wahlberg doesn’t have those problems at the moment. We will be seeing him in Spenser Confidential, set to be released by Netflix on March 6. In this movie features, Wahlberg will become Spenser, a Boston detective created by Robert B. Baker. The project was filmed in Wahlberg’s native Massachusetts.
