Ben Affleck Releases New Details on His Text Messages From Tom Brady
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the most storied NFL player at the moment. Well, TB12 has been in the center of all events throughout his career. He’s been making the hottest headlines, and things got even hotter this offseason. Brady will hit the open market on March 18 for the first time in his professional career. Brady’s offseason decision is the most intriguing issue New England has to solve at the moment. Many analysts have tried to predict his next move but, truth is, no one knows a thing about Brady. Not even his good friend Ben Affleck.
The actor has already tried to contact Brady. The same goes for his friend Matt Damon. It looks like Affleck, Damon, and Brady have been sending some group text messages. No, Brady hasn’t said a thing about his free agency. He just used an emoji in one of his messages.
Ben Affleck may make Tom Brady talk
Affleck appeared on ESPN’s Get Up to discuss his movie, “The Way Back.” He talked about the group chat he has with Brady and Damon. These two have been trying to get Brady to talk about his offseason move, but their efforts didn’t give any fruits.
Affleck admitted to NBC10 Boston that he has received more messages from the Patriots quarterback. Brady kept the juicy details from himself.
“I have gotten some texts from Tom, but he is very tight-lipped about his future,” the actor said. “As I said before, he has the right to make all the money in the world. I hope he gets paid, and I hope they say ‘Whatever it is you can get, we’ll match it. Stick around.'”
Well, Brady won’t be able to keep his secret for too long. He will have to make a decision at some point. Ian Rapoport reported that Brady’s agent will meet with the Patriots at the 2020 NFL Combine. This doesn’t mean that both sides will reach an agreement.
Brady has attracted the attention of several teams, including the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders. He likes the Patriots, but if head coach Bill Belichick doesn’t give him a deal, Brady can easily go somewhere else.
