Gisele Reveals She Doesn’t Like To Be Called A Stepmom… What She Prefers Instead

Gisele Bundchen has a blended family with Tom Brady, but she doesn’t like being called “a stepmom.”

The Brazilian supermodel was pretty honest about her motherhood and the life she has with Brady, Jack, Benjamin, and little Vivi. Gisele answered a lot of questions about her family, and the video was sharwd on her Instagram Stories.

When asked about her role as a stepmom to Jack, Bundchen said she doesn’t like using that word to describe everything she does.

“I don’t like the word ‘stepmom,’” she said. “Yes, I like the word ‘bonus mom’ because I feel like it’s a blessing in my life. I feel so lucky that I got to have an extra wonderful little angel in my life.”

Gisele is more than a stepmom

The couple go married in 2009.  Their romance didn’t have the best start as Bridget Moynahan found out she was pregnant when they were already dating. The families found a way to blend because they are raising a kid together.

Gisele and Brady have packed schedules, but they keep their little family together. There’s no “secret recipe” for their success though. It’s all about being present with the kids. A parent has to be there for the kids and really listen to them.

“I think it’s not so much [about] the amount of time,” the supermodel said. “I think it’s the quality of time.”

Gisele and Brady do their best to create a “loving and safe” family environment.

“I think what’s really important as well is the energy that is around the children,” she said.

The supermodel and her quarterback husband are “constantly giving them kisses and hugs” because the kids need to feel appreciated. “I think they really see how much we love each other and how much we support each other.”

Gisele and Brady are on the same page in terms of communication. They don’t raise their voices and never have arguments. The couple just talks things over and finds a solution to an existing problem.

The supermodel and her husband celebrated their 11^th wedding anniversary. Gisele took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of her and Brady munching on their wedding cake. It’s the cake they had after coming home from the wedding. Brady shared a photo of Gisele posing in front of the place where they met. He also shared a photo of her and the kids.
