Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was super busy winning Super Bowls. He became even busier when his daughter Lily came to this world. Edelman became a dad in 2016. It was a challenging year for the wide receiver, and Edelman’s life changed completely. Edelman and Lily’s mom, Swedish model Ella Rose, were dating at a time. Who would’ve thought that Julian Edelman would become such a sweet father of a cute little daughter?

Fatherhood was such a challenge for Edelman. That was his reality check. Ella is a model and he is a professional football player. He really wanted to be there for his daughter, and wanted to give her his time and energy. Little girls need someone to look up to, and Edelman is paying a lot of attention to that aspect of his life.

Daughter Lily is a top priority for Julian Edelman

In his interview for Haute Living, Edelman talked about parenthood, and the changes it brought in his life. He has been trying to reach perfection since he was eight, and his priorities changed in 2016. Lily came into his life when he least expected it. Edelman wasn’t living for himself anymore, and Lily became the center of his life.

Edelman is playing for the biggest NFL team in history. Although Lily was born in the most challenging year of his life, Edelman embraced his new role. He liked being ‘dad’ to someone. It felt right. It felt good.

Edelman isn’t married to Ella. When asked if he is looking for a romantic partner to help him raise the girl, he said he was “dating here and there.” Dating is a lot different now that he has a little girl. He meets great women, but it’s not about him anymore. He has to think about Lily. It’s a tricky deal, but Edelman will find a way to make everyone happy, including his little girl.

You may see this as an “audition process,” but Edelman is doing a great job. A lot of women would gladly date the handsome dad and help him raise Lily. We saw him with great ladies, but he has yet to make a choice.
