Kobe Bryant and Daughter Gianna Laid to Rest Ahead of Public Memorial

Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna are laid to rest. Bryant was traveling with his daughter and seven other people when his helicopter crashed in the hillside outside Los Angeles. No one survived the crash. Vanessa and the families have organized a public memorial in honor of the Black Mamba and his girl.

February 7 is listed as the date of disposition on the death certificates. The service was held at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary in Corona Del Mar, California. The memorial park didn’t make any comments.

The public memorial for all victims of the deadly crash will take place on Monday, Feb. 24 at Staples Center. The service will also honor the lives of  John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, Christina Mauser, and pilot Ara Zobayan.

This is a rather important date for the Bryant family. Gianna had No. 2 with her basketball team at the Mamba Sports Academy. Kobe had No. 24. The Lakers legend and his daughter left behind Vanessa, Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and baby Capri (7 months).

Fans pay tribute to Kobe and Gianna

Fans across the globe paid tribute to Kobe, his daughter and the other victims of the crash. Numerous athletes honored the Black Mamba. NBA teams allowed the 24-second shot clock to run down to zero at the start of games. Players also wore one of Kobe’s numbers while on the court.

Vanessa can’t accept her sad reality. She can’t imagine waking up without her beautiful girl and her beloved husband. This is the worst nightmare a woman will ever have. Kobe died at 41, and he left this world too soon. His baby girl, Capri, stood up for the first time these days, and he missed that incredible moment. Vanessa couldn’t find words to express herself. The grieving mother and wife was in a terrible condition after the crash. She was losing consciousness all the time, and we understand her. She lives in pain, and nothing can help her at the moment. However, her daughters need her, so she does her best to stay strong for the girls.
