Kyle Kuzma Reacts To Not Being Traded By Lakers

Kyle Kuzma survived the big wave of trades. Many thought that the young Laker would end up playing somewhere else. Most of these people said that LeBron James would trade every young player on the roster. It didn’t happen, and Kuzma is still here. He also survived the latest trade deadline. Is he surprised?

“Nope,” Kuzma said. “Just play my role. Come in, play with energy. Crash the boards every time. When I get the ball, just make the best of it. There’s no pressure. The media people they may try to make those extra pressures on you, but I trust my teammates, and I trust what we got going on here. I’m just trying to play my role.”

Some analysts predicted a move for the Patriots. Many linked the team with a few guards.

Luckily, Kuzma doesn’t really pay attention to all the rumors about his future with the team. But, being safe at this point sure comes as a relief for him.

Although he survived the trade deadline, Kuzma had a rough game against Houston. He finished the game with only four points in 20 minutes on 2-of-8 shooting. He was a non-factor in a match in which the Lakers could’ve used some help from the bench.

Kyle Kuzma won’t be traded in near future

Kuzma didn’t have the best game against the Rockets, but he is definitely a promising player. He has a future in Los Angeles. The team is closer to a title this season, and Kuzma may earn his first ring.

We would really love to see what happens next with the Lakers. They may add more players to finish the season with full power. Is Darren Collison an option? He attended Thursday’s game, and we all saw him talking to Lakers owner Jeannie Buss. Kuzma may be safe for now. However, we can’t say that for some of the players on the roster. They may leave the team. If the Lakers need enough room for Collison, someone will have to go. Let’s see what happens by the end of the season. Will the Lakers add a new player? Who is going home this time?
