LeBron James broke another record in the game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Los Angeles Lakers defeated Davis’ former team. Again. It was a beautiful 118-108 win for LeBron’s team.

The king of basketball finished the game with 40 points. Scoring 40 points in an NBA game is super impressive. It’s even more impressive if you are 35 and above. LeBron’s name was added to the list of best players. He is the fourth Lakers player above 35 to score 40+ points. Father Time? Bot for LeBron. He has a lot to offer at this point, and he can easily play a few more years. Sharing the court with his oldest son Bronny is one of his greatest wishes.

If you look at his game closely, you’d say the same. There’s no decline in LeBron’s performance, and he is definitely leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a title this season.

This record puts LeBron in the group of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The legend achieved this scoring feat on four different occasions. Elgin Baylon did the same in three games, and late legend Kobe Bryant did it twice.

LeBron finished the game with 40 points, 8 boards and six dimes in his 36 minutes of action. The Pelicans came packed with Zion Williamson, but they had no chance of winning this game. LeBron shot 17-for-27 from the field and had 5 of his 11 attempts from “rainbow country.”

King James had a lot of highlights in the game against the Pelicans. His poster dunk over former Laker Josh Hart is one of them.

LeBron is in his second campaign with the Lakers, and he is ready for the postseason. Last season, the Lakers had no chance of making the postseason. They came stronger this season. LeBron has Anthony Davis by his side, and every win is actually a result of the perfect chemistry they have.
