LeBron James Moves Up On NBA All-Time 3-Pointers List

Lakers superstar LeBron James has more awards than most players in the NBA, and he has an army of fans who consider him the GOAT. LeBron is 35, but his athleticism has reached the highest peak. Remember his reverse dunk? He did magic during the game against the Houston Rockets. King James keeps hitting milestones, and this time he moved up the NBA all-time 3-pointers list.

In Saturday’s win over the Golden State Warriors, LeBron added another great achievement to his rich career resume. The king moved into the top-15 on the NBA’s all-time three-pointers list. In this win, LeBron passed Detroit Pistons legend Chauncey Billups. At this moment, he has 1,831 career triples.

LeBron isn’t best known for his 3-pointers. He isn’t the best shooter in the NBA. However, LeBron shoots at a respectable clip at 34.4 percent for his career.

LeBron moves up to as high as the top-15, and this only confirms his power on the floor. He is 35 and has an incredible ability to adapt to every change in the game. Let’s not forget that he was a suspect jump shooter at the beginning of his career.

Will LeBron go even higher on the NBA all-time 3-pointers list?

LeBron entered the game with a three-pointer shy of surpassing Billups. He moved into the 15th spot with a triple in the fourth quarter. This brought the team up by 14.

King James finished the night with 22 points on 7-of-17 shooting, 8 rebounds, 11 assists, and three three-pointers. The Lakers led by 21 points in the third quarter, but the Golden State was still strong in the final quarter of the game. The Warriors cut the lead down to five with 40 seconds t0 go.

LeBron hit his third three of the night, on the left wing and put the game away. This shot reminded us of the game-winning step-back triple he hit against the Golden State with the Miami Heat in 2014.

Los Angeles recorded the 39th win of the season, and LeBron and his teammates still own the top spot in the Western Conference. Hopefully, they will keep playing at this pace. It’s an excellent season for the team.
