LeBron James Says He Has A Better Relationship With the Lakers Front Office Than Any Other Team

LeBron James had a good feeling about Los Angeles. He inked a four-year deal with the team and brought hope to the Lakers fanbase. However, things didn’t work really well in his debut season. LeBron missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2004-05 season. His groin injury kept him on the sidelines for quite some time. But it looks like LeBron has built a really good relationship with the Lakers front office. Magic Johnson and Luke Walton are both gone.

Last year, the front office surrounded LeBron with young players. They were unable to connect with him. Some of these players are now gone. This Lakers team is really great, and Anthony Davis arrived at the right time. The Lakers had to sign another star to help LeBron win more games.

That’s exactly what happened. The Lakers are on the top of the Western Conference, and they don’t even think of going down. LeBron signed up for this. He didn’t sign up for a missed postseason. He needs to win games. Every superstar dreams of a title.

The Lakers front office likes to cater to LeBron

Let’s go back to the front office. There was an effort to bring LeBron’s former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue. The deal was almost sealed, but the negotiations failed. Los Angeles hired Frank Vogel. LeBron has never worked with him, but it looks like they are doing an excellent job.

King James didn’t like the way his team was being managed at the time. However, he was patient, and his patience was rewarded with another great player. Davis arrived at the right time. The coaching staff worked much better, and LeBron was surrounded by skilled veterans. Both sides did a lot of work, and the result is more than excellent.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported that King James feels this is the most in tune he has ever been with a front office.

“LeBron James is getting even more comfortable being a Los Angeles Laker, and he told me the connection with the front office and ownership group is the best he’s had in his NBA career,” Haynes reported.

The Lakers like to cater to their superstars. They needed seven years to rebuild the roster, but they have finally hit the comfort zone again. See you at the playoffs!
