Team owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick have great plans for the star quarterback. There were reports about the Patriots and their will to give Tom Brady $30 million this offseason. According to latest reports, the Patriots have yet to set a parameter. In other words, the organization didn’t really like the previous report.

Ian Rapoport from NFL Media fueled the fire with his report. He wrote that the Patriots will offer Brady at least $30 million to keep him on the roster. Of course, we wouldn’t deny the fact that Rapoport is a tuned-in reporter. But, NBC Sports Boston’s Tom E. Curran is an informed reporter, and he busted Rapoport’s report.

“And while my understanding is that the Patriots are willing to extend themselves financially to keep him, Belichick will receive no edict from the owner on what to do.
