Rob Gronkowski Hints at Comeback to Tom Brady

Rob Gronkowski is at it again. The retired tight end keeps messing up with us all. He made sure everyone understands that his pain was unbearable, citing it as the main reason for his retirement. Why would Rob Gronkowski bring his comeback back again?

It all started when quarterback Tom Brady shared an update on his Instagram. In his post, we can see Brady working out on a beach. Yes, the future Hall of Famer showed the world that he is super ready for 2020.

“31 weeks until kickoff,” the description read. “That’s a lot of time to get better.”

We noticed Gronk’s name in the comments section. His comment is actually a reference to the number of weeks he will have sat out by the start of the upcoming season.

“When you take year off, 52 + 31 = 83 + 4 weeks (miss preseason) now equals = 87 weeks to get better Tom. Think bout that.”

Many would agree that Gronk made another joke. He is just trying to make people talk. But, let’s not forget that he is still interested in coming back. Of course, he has to stay healthy first.

“I knew that’s what I wanted to do,” the retired tight end said. “Knew that that’s where I was headed, and no regrets at all, man. I’m having a good year. Felt like that was the time. I had a couple — a month or so after the season and just felt like that was the time. It feels good to know that it was a good decision.”

Rob Gronkowski always hints a comeback

“I don’t know. I mean, I’m a young guy, 30 years old. Still love to work out, stay in shape. I will never say a complete no because I love playing sports, I love competing. It’s still what I do to this day. No matter what it is, if I’m out playing basketball, and I’ll answer this the same as I always answer it. If I ever come back and I feel I have that passion, that strong passion for a continued time, not just one day or one hour, like, ‘Oh, man. I need to play football again.’ I’m talking like a continued passion for about a good week or a good month or so. Then I would think about truly returning to football.”

It looks like Gronkowski will never close this door. There’s a chance for him to return, and we can’t wait for this to happen. Imagine seeing Gronk practice with Brady again.

A comeback may not be possible for Rob Gronkowski due to his pain

In his nine seasons with the Patriots, Gronk spent a lot of time on the injury report. He suffered concussions, knee issues, hip injuries, ankle injuries…

In his final season with the Patriots, something bad happened. The Patriots nation missed the big-play ability Gronk had throughout his career. He was able to catch just 47 balls for 682 yards and three touchdowns for 14.5 yards per reception. Gronk even admitted that he lost a step during the final year as a Patriot.

I 100 percent lost a step (last year),” he said in a recent interview. “I actually lost like three steps some games. Didn’t even want to be out there on the field. I was like, ‘Yo, I feel like complete ass. Coach, put Dwayne (Allen) in, I don’t even care.’ I was at that point.”

Well, we haven’t lost any hope. We want Gronk back!
