Skip Bayless Claims LeBron James Has Considered Running For President

Lakers superstar LeBron James has a really good chance to become a President of the United States. The greatest player of all time can become one of the greatest presidents our country has ever had. Let’s just say that LeBron has something else on his mind. Running for president is not on his to-do list at the moment. The king goes for greater goals this time. Winning a title with the Los Angeles Lakers is on his list. That’s for sure.

Fox Sports commentator Skip Bayless says a source close to the Lakers superstar told him King James has seriously considered running for President of the US.

“I heard today from someone close to LeBron who said he HAS seriously considered running for President of the United States some day. ‘It’s a plan of his but not yet a goal,’ the source said.”

This happened right after DeMarcus Cousins went on the “All The Smoke” Podcast with Matt Barness and Stephen Jackson. He said that his Lakers teammate should take part in the presidential run. Can you imagine LeBron in the highest-ranking public office in the country?

Melissa Rohlin from Sports Illustrated claims that LeBron isn’t interested in the presidential race. That’s what he said during Thursday’s practice.

LeBron James for president

Is Bayless just trying to keep the narrative alive? Well, LeBron has great success off the court, and that could help him win the presidential race. The king of basketball opened the I Promise School in his hometown Akron, Ohio, to help at-risk youth.

We also know that the inaugural class from the school will get free tuition to Kent State University. This is LeBron’s greatest achievement.

“We have so many options, and I just know that so many kids in my community just don’t have many options,” he said. “So for me to be able to be in a position where I can give these kids options to decide what they want to do with their future, it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever done.”

If LeBron decides to run for president one day, he will have a lot of voters under his name.
