Tom Brady’s Rumored Demands For The Patriots Revealed

Things got really hot in Foxboro, and the situation between Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will take a different level next week. The quarterback has spent two decades working with head coach Bill Belichick. He is about to enter the open market for the first time in his professional career. This was a rather unexpected turn for the experienced player. Let’s not forget that Brady is the greatest of all time. However, Belichick didn’t want to give him a two-year contract a year ago. He may do the same this spring. Well, Tom has some demands for his Patriots.

Fans can’t imagine seeing TB12 put on a different uniform. We are used to see him play with the Patriots. He likes the team, and he has actually helped them win six Super Bowls. Why would Belichick let him go now? Well, numerous players have confirmed that Belichick can be pretty strict when it comes to negotiations. He’d cut a player at the first sign of decline. He has done it before.

Jeff Howe of The Athletic reported that Brady wanted a two-year contract last season. Obviously, he didn’t get one. Brady will turn 43 in August, and yes, he still wants that two-year commitment with the Patriots. If they don’t offer him that deal, Brady will probably sign with another team. Let’s not forget that the Los Angeles Raiders plan to offer him a two-year contract worth $60 million.

“Last year when the sides renegotiated Brady’s contract, Brady wanted guaranteed money for the 2020 season to assure his own job security. The Patriots didn’t want to go that far, or at least not with an acceptable amount of guaranteed money. That’s why they compromised – the Pats were essentially only on the hook for 2019 with a 42-year-old quarterback, and Brady got an $8 million raise, freedom from the franchise tag and the voided language that assured the Patriots’ likelihood of a decision on his future prior to the March 18 start of free agency.”

Brady doesn’t say a thing about his free agency. Even his friend Ben Affleck couldn’t get a word from him. He kept texting the quarterback, but Brady kept the juicy info to himself.
