Alvin Gentry Argues LeBron James Is Far Ahead Of Competition For 2020 MVP

LeBron James has earned the praise of many athletes and coaches throughout his career. New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry was among the many to share words of praise for the Lakers superstar.

According to Gentry, LeBron is far ahead of the competition for the 2019-2020 Most Valuable Player award. Gentry talked to media members following the Pelicans 122-114 loss to LeBron’s team. He is impressed with the dominance LeBron had in the last decade. From his point of view, LeBron is the player who belongs in the MVP conversation.

“I’m just amazed that they talk about anybody other than him for MVP. That’s what he does. Every team that he’s been to, every team that he’s gone have a chance to win the championship,” Gentry said of King James. “I’m not sure what the definition of MVP is but he makes everybody on his team better and it makes it difficult for everybody playing.”
