Charlie Weis Reveals Tom Brady’s Message About His Free Agency

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will have to make a big decision this offseason. He is set to become a free agent on March 18. Although many analysts have made a prediction about his pending free agency, we still don’t know anything about his next move. Former Patriots coach Charlie Weis has a theory about this.

Today a co-host on Sirius XM NFL Radio’s “Opening Drive” program, Weis on Thursday talked about a recent text exchange between him and TB12. He talked about this message and maybe you will be able to make a conclusion.

“I do have one bit of scoop for us. I’ve been texting with Tommy. I don’t (usually) pass along these conversations, but one thing he told me — ‘Nobody knows anything. So anyone who is telling you they know, they don’t know.’ I’m not going through any other part of the conversation (but) I followed up and he said, ‘Clean it up.’ So I’m cleaning it up.”

Charlie Weis may have a theory

During a recent conversation with UFC president Dana White, Patriots owner Robert Kraft insisted he wants the team to re-sign the greatest player in the league history.

“I talked to him, I was like, ‘Mr. Kraft, listen to me. If you listen to the entire interview, that is not what I said. What I said first was, ‘I want him to be with the Patriots, and I want him to retire there. And if he doesn’t, if that doesn’t work out, then whatever.’ But I can tell you this: All the Boston fans that are worried about where Tom Brady is going, Mr. Kraft wants Tom Brady to be with the Patriots so bad. I just talked to him today, and Mr. Kraft wants Brady bad.”

Things may take a completely different turn for the Patriots this offseason. If Brady leaves the team, the Patriots won’t have a replacement for him. Will they manage to replace the GOAT? I don’t think so. Belichick wasn’t able to replace Rob Gronkowski. He wouldn’t be able to replace TB12 either. Hopefully, he will find a way to make him stay in New England.
