Devin McCourty Reportedly Staying In Foxboro

Recent reports suggest that nineteen Patriots players will enter the free market on March 18. This includes Tom Brady, Kyle Van Noy, and Devin McCourty. Brady and head coach Bill Belichick remain tight-lipped when it comes to the quarterback’s offseason deal. When it comes to the McCourty twin, we can freely say that his future isn’t as uncertain as Brady’s.

Every NFL story starts with TB12, but analysts have now turned their attention towards the other players on the Patriots roster. New England will have to make a lot of decisions regarding their free agents. It looks like McCourty’s situation is solved.

New England picks up Jason McCourty’s contract option that will keep him on the team. This great move will add depth to the unit. Jason will probably be third or fourth on the depth chart.

What about his twin brother?

Devin McCourty is staying

This development of events suggests that Jason’s brother is coming back to Foxboro too.

The twins really like the idea of playing with one another in the league. They had the chance to do that with the New England Patriots. They even won a Super Bowl together.

Of course, McCourty will probably want to get a nice salary. He came off his best season. He saw five interceptions and was the captain of the Patriots defense.

The Patriots have one thing that no other organization can offer. Devin has an opportunity to finish his career with his brother. This is much better than any salary, right?

The McCourty twins had a good season, and they tried really well to help the team win more games. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough for the Patriots to win the Super Bowl. The team was eliminated in the Wild Card round after losing the game to the Tennessee Titans. Of course, coach Belichick now has the chance to fix the damage his offense caused in 2019. But first, he has to do something about Tom Brady and his contract. These two talked on the phone, but some sources reveal that the conversation didn’t go well. How will Belichick pack his roster for the upcoming season?
