Eli Manning Releases Statement On Patriots Dynasty After Tom Brady’s Departure

The New England Patriots lost Tom Brady in free agency. If you ask Eli Manning, he will say the Patriots can remain kings of the AFC East without the star signal-caller. Those are his words. H claims that even with Brady in Tampa Bay, the Patriots are in excellent shape.

The Giants superstar made a huge statement this week during his interview with the NY Post. He believes that we can never count out Bill Belichick’s guys.

“I think they still have a very good team, a great defense, great coaches,” Manning said. “Obviously Tom was a very important part on their success over the years, but I think they have kind of a way and they have a system that Belichick has implemented there that I think will continue to find ways to have success.”

Manning knows that things will be a lot different n 2020. He doesn’t know who will fill Brady’s shoes in September. But, Manning is pretty confident in Belichick’s greatness.

Eli Manning was shocked last week

When it comes to Brady’s departure, Manning said he was shocked to see the GOAT move.

“I guess you just kind of wonder what was the reasoning? I don’t know if he felt unappreciated, or just wanted to try something different, but was surprised that this went down.”

Manning is confident about Brady finding success with his new team in 2020. He wonders how much having no offseason will affect the franchise. The NFL shut down everything due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“That’s valuable time for a quarterback to kind of get on the same page and learn a new offense and figure that out,” Manning said.

Let’s see what happens by September. Brady will have plenty of time to get used to his new team. Hopefully, the virus will be gone by then. Hundreds of thousands of people have tested positive for coronavirus. Over 23,000 people lost the battle against COVID-19. The situation may easily slip out of control. How will world authorities handle the pandemic? For now, we can only wash our hands and stay away from others. Drink a lot of water and stay in quarantine.
