Josh McDaniels Releases Statement On Tom Brady Leaving New England

Quarterback Tom Brady decided to leave the New England Patriots after two decades. It was a big decision for the quarterback, but he needed a change. He needed to do something about it. Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels addressed the contract Tom Brady signed with the Buccaneers. It was a big deal for Brady. The Buccaneers offered him a two-year contract worth $60 million.

McDaniels has spent 16 years with the organization. He’s been part of the Patriots family since 2001. McDaniels worked closely with TB12 on offense. In 2004, McDaniels became the Patriots’ quarterbacks coach. He got a chance to work with the quarterback directly.

From 2005-2008, McDaniels was the Patriots offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He decided to leave the Patriots in 2009 to become the head coach of the Denver Broncos.

He was away from the Patriots for three years before returning to the Pats in 2012. McDaniels built a strong relationship with Brady.

Josh McDaniels likes Brady

McDaniels admits that no one has worked harder than Brady. TB12 has won six Super Bowls. This makes him the best quarterback of all times. Brady is the greatest of all time, and it’s hard to see him go to another team.

Unfortunately, everything comes to an end. Brady will go somewhere else now. He likes Tampa. Gisele probably likes Tampa. It’s warm. However, they will have to get used to a new climate. Brady will have to learn a new rulebook. He spent two decades as a Patriot, and he will always be one.

Brady will turn 43 in August, and he will spend two years in Tampa. Of course, there’s always a possibility for him to go somewhere else. He promised to play until he is 45. Alex Guerrero believes that Brady can play until he is 46 or 47. Can you imagine seeing him play until 47? That would be nice.

The Buccaneers are more than thrilled to have Brady on the roster. They aren’t considered contenders. The arrival of Brady will change everything. Let’s see what happens in September. Maybe Brady will bring the Pats to the playoffs. Will they win a title?
