Julian Edelman Receives Ironic Salute For Incredible Super Bowl LI Catch

COVID-19 froze pretty much everything in our country, and the situation doesn’t look good at all. But, Julian Edelman found something to keep himself entertained. FOX re-aired Super Bowl LI. It was a good way to remind everyone that the Pats erased a 25-point deficit and defeated the Atlanta Falcons.

The NFL’s official Instagram page put the accent on one of the game’s best plays of the game. It was Edelman’s ridiculous fourth-quarter grab. This catch helped the Patriots set up the game-tying score. Not bad, huh?

David Tyree popped up in the comments section. He praised the Patriots WR for his amazing catch. “Can’t li… this catch was crazzzyyy! Legendary Edelman!” he wrote.

Everyone will remember Tyree for “the helmet catch.” This move helped the New York Giants get a score in Super Bowl XLII. It destroyed the Patriots’ efforts to have a nice 2007 season. Tyree may be great, but the Patriots nation still tries to recover from that greatness.

Super Bowl LI was just like magic!

When it comes to Super Bowl LI, it was awesome.

Atlanta was nearly flawless for three quarters behind regular-season MVP Matt Ryan. However, TB12 came to life and managed to throw for a then-Super Bowl record 466 yards. Brady led his team to 31 unanswered points and earned his fourth MVP honor. Running back James White caught a record 14 passes and offered all the excitement you need when watching a game.

This game was the perfect comeback in Super Bowl history. It happened three years ago, and Brady led his former team to another brilliant win. The Falcons will never forget this comeback. Winning 34-28 in overtime was a big deal for the Patriots nation at the time. It still is.

But, we won’t be seeing Brady do anything like this anymore. Not in New England.  TB12 signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He will stay in the Tampa Bay area for at least two years. Brady will probably finish his career with the Bucs, and that’s not bad at all. He has every right to make the best decision about his career.
