Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Names The Player He Mostly Resemble

The NBA suspended the regular season amid the coronavirus outbreak. This leaves us plenty of time to analyze players. NBA legends have enough time to find someone who looks just like them in their primetime. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar shared the name of the player who plays just like him.

The Lakers legend took to his Twitter and answered questions about him, the Lakers and Anthony Davis. Yes, you read that right.

Kareem is convinced that Davis best resembles him, and shared his reasons to think that way.

“Anthony Davis is the player that I mostly resemble but I never shot 3 pointers like he does,” the legend wrote on Twitter. “However all other aspects of his game are similar to mine.”

Many analysts believe that Davis is one of the best young players on the court. He joined the Los Angeles Lakers in a really good move. Davis took part in the early MVP discussion. Now he can win the Defensive Player of the Year.

Kareem is impressed with the Lakers player

Davis has yet to pass the Abdul-Jabbar’s career-high marks for rebounds (16.9) and blocked shots (4.1). The legend achieved that in 1975-76. However, this doesn’t change the fact that Davis has shown a dominant defensive force in his own way. He fits perfectly in the Lakers roster, and the best has yet to come. Of course, NBA officials have to open the regular season first. If the coronavirus sticks around for a long time, officials may put an end to the season.

Magic Johnson is also impressed with Davis. He knows that the Los Angeles Lakers needed Davis. The Hall of Famer tried to get Davis before the trade deadline during his time n LA, but the New Orleans Pelicans wouldn’t give up on the star. Today, Davis plays with LeBron James in LA, and he records 26.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. Magic Johnson believes that LeBron and Davis make the best duo in the NBA. He can recognize true potential. He had great teammates during his time in LA.

LA players talk to each other all the time. They have excellent chemistry. You can tell that by the number of games they have won.
