This move broke the record for the highest-selling modern NBA jersey. Several sources confirmed the information, including Darren Rovell of ESPN. According to him, LeBron’s jersey got 231 bids.
The money will be donated to the Mamba On Three Fund and the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation to honor late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna. The Black Mamba and Gigi died in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26.
