Report: Tom Brady Deciding Between Two Teams

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will probably decide between two teams. The list of potential suitors is shorter now. Brady was supposed to sign with the Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The San Francisco 49ers wanted to get him, too. The Los Angeles Chargers were considered an option, too.

Well, Brady may actually re-sign a contract with the Patriots. If this isn’t an option for him, he may go with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to Chris Simms of NBC Sports, Brady wanted to go to San Francisco. It was his favorite destination. However, the team doesn’t need his talents. They decided to stick with Jimmy Garoppolo. So, Brady’s only choices include a return to New England or a new contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tom Brady doesn’t have too many teams available

This may not be the best option Brady wanted for himself. The Buccaneers are doing their best to sign the star quarterback. They could give him a better salary and a bigger say in personnel decisions. However, the team has never been close to winning a Super Bowl. If TB12 wants to win more rings, he will have to agree to a friendly deal with the Patriots.

Head coach Bill Belichick worked really well with his star quarterback. He will surely need Brady in 2020. Without Brady, the Patriots have no chances of winning a championship. Brady has helped the Pats win six Super Bowls. He can help them win a few more. Without his talents, the Patriots will fall at the bottom of the list. Brady is the leading power of the team. He has spent two decades with the Patriots. Will he leave the team in free agency?

According to some sources, Brady has talked with the team. In his conversation with Belichick, Brady received a bad offer. It’s a one-year deal. That’s all. With this deal, Brady would get a lot lower salary than last year. Is this what he’s looking for? I don’t think so. Brady probably wants a longer deal. Let’s see if he would be able to get one. The Patriots don’t have a choice at the moment.
