Rudy Gay Says LeBron James Is A ‘Decepticon’

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is in his 17th NBA season, and he doesn’t even think of stopping now. LeBron turned 35 in December, and his resume is packed with milestones. We all know that LeBron is the greatest of all time. San Antonio Spurs wind Rudy Gay found the perfect nickname for King James. Will LeBron like this?

According to Gay, LeBron is a Decepticon. He is the main antagonist in the fictional universes of the Transformers multimedia franchise.

It’s crazy. Yeah. The thing about it is, I played, like you said, these 14 years for me,” Gay told Wosny Lambre of The Athletic. “I’ve had injuries, I’ve done all of that. To see LeBron, at this point in his career, still be healthy and still be able to play at that pace, he’s like a Decepticon or something, man.”

Rudy Gay is right

LeBron is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 10.6 assists per game on the season for the team.  He is shooting 49.8 percent from the field, 34.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 69.7 percent from the free-throw line.

The NBA decided to suspend the regular season. Should the season continue, LeBron’s team will start off with a 49-14 record. They sit on top of the Western Conference. Lakers fans had a really good chance of winning a title this season. The same applies to Clippers fans. Kawhi Leonard can easily take his team to the Finals.

King James tried to get his fourth title and fifth MVP honor this season. However, we don’t really know whether league officials plan to open the season again. Players are in self-isolation and some of them tested positive for coronavirus. Rudy Gobert was the first to test positive. His teammate Donovan Mitchell was the second player to have the virus. Kevin Durant and four of his teammates tested positive. According to some reports, coronavirus has affected two Lakers players.

Hopefully, the situation will improve in the near future. If the league doesn’t start in a month, Lakers players can already start planning their next season. Will Anthony Davis stick around for another round?
