Skip Bayles Pinpoints When Relationship Burned For Tom Brady, Bill Belichick

The New England Patriots will play without TB12, and Skip Bayless has a theory about the relationship between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Some said that Brady’s connection to the organization changed in the past few years. Of course, this isn’t enough for us to make a theory on our own.

Brady had nothing but words of praise and love for his former team. He announced his decision to move on from the Patriots. Brady will play his 21st season somewhere else. When did it all change?

The FS1 host believes that the relationship between TB12 and his head coach broke during Super Bowl LII in February.

“I still say the bridge was burned, Brady to Belichick, and vice versa, in the Super Bowl against the Eagles when Belichick inexplicably benched Malcom Butler, who had played the most defensive snaps of anyone on that unit that year — not just DBs, of any defensive player, most snaps — and it remains unexplained why he was benched the whole game,” Bayless said in a video posted to the “Undisputed” Twitter account.

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick won six Super Bowls

Brady played two more seasons with the Patriots and even won a title.

“Tom Brady put up 33 (points). He threw for a playoff record 505 (yards),” Bayless said. “He did drop a pass that was straight over his head from (Danny) Amendola, I think it was, and you can argue this and that, and he finally lost the ball at the end of the game in a desperate situation. I will give you that. But he did put up a Super Bowl loser’s record 33 points, and that defense of Bill Belichick gave up 41 (points) to a backup quarterback who’s now on the outs in Jacksonville, Nick Foles.”

Bayless may be talking nonsense for some fans. Belichick really liked his quarterback, and he enjoyed their time together. They won six Super Bowls together. Well, Belichick will have to find another quarterback to win his next title. Who will replace Brady? The quarterback will probably ink a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
