Stephen A. Smith Says LeBron Is The Best Player In The World, But Not Sure He’s MVP

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is the frontrunner for the NBA MVP award this season and he is the best player in the NBA. Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo had the honor, but it looks like LeBron is determined to snatch the award. The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Bucks, and LeBron showed everyone that he deserves the honors this season. Giannis is talented, but LeBron is definitely the NBA MVP. What does Stephen A. Smith think about this?

According to Smith, LeBron is the best player in the NBA. But, he doesn’t see him as MVP. He’s got a few good reasons to say that.

“Right now LeBron is the best player in the world. There’s no question on my mind about it. Just because you’re the best player in the world, doesn’t mean that you’re gonna get MVP. We’ve seen the cases when best player in the world didn’t get the MVP.”

LeBron James is the best player in the world

Smith is right. LeBron is the best player the league has ever seen. And yet, we still have people who say that Giannis is the NBA MVP for the season. When LeBron was playing in the East, people said he couldn’t get the honors just because he was playing in the weaker conference. This season, he is in the West, and we still have people who say that Giannis is better than him. He’s been treated unfairly. Well, the defeat over Giannis changed the game. Yes, LeBron is the best player in the NBA, and he will get the NBA MVP award. Smith believes that LeBron would miss the chance to add another award to his resume just because people play unfairly.

This season, LeBron is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 0.5 blocks and 10.6 assists per game, while shooting at 49.8% from the floor.

His rival, Giannis, is averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 boards, 1.0 steal, 1.0 block and 5.8 assists per game while shooting at 54.7% from the field.
