Tom Brady Breaks The News To Julian Edelman In Edited Viral Movie Clip

Tom Brady is leaving Julian Edelman and the New England Patriots behind. The quarterback decided to leave the Patriots after two decades. It was a big move, but Brady knows what’s best for him and his family. It’s always about the family.

Right after TB12 announced that he was leaving the organization, a popular sportsbook released an edited movie clip. It mimics the moment Brady broke the news to his dear teammate and friend.

The clip was taken from the 2010 film “The Town.” BetOnline.ag shows the faces of Brady and his teammate “placed” over the faces of actors Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner. They addressed the champion quarterback’s departure from the team after two decades and six Super Bowl wins.

“What does that mean you’re done?” Edelman asks of Brady. The GOAT says he’s leaving the place in his “rearview.”

“There’s people I can’t let you walk away from,” the wideout continues in the video that became viral in the next few hours.

Of course, this was a clever play on words. The movie is set in Boston, so Affleck was just making a reference to Florida where TB12 is rumored to be moving to this spring.

“If you wanna see me again, come down and visit me in Florida.”

Brady and Edelman will stay friends

According to a report released by the NFL Network, the former Patriots quarterback and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reached “an agreement in principle.” This agreement would give Brady around $30 million for an undisclosed period of time.

The free-agency period officially begins Wednesday at 4 p.m. EST. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven’t made any comments on the potential deal.

This was a rather big move for the GOAT. He is used to head coach Bill Belichick and the team. At this point, Brady will have to adjust his talent to a different rulebook.

Brady and his family will probably move to Tampa this spring. It will be hard to see Brady wearing a different uniform. But, he is well aware of this. He needed this change. Patriots fans will miss him for sure.
