Tom Brady Gives Unique ‘Perspective’ About Coronavirus

Sports leagues around the globe are taking serious precautions as the coronavirus outbreak spreads. The NBA reportedly has expanded on its initial warning to all teams. Shams Charania from The Athletics reported that the NBA sent a memo to franchises informing them they should get ready to play games without any fans in attendance. This is the worst-case scenario as the franchises would take a serious financial hit if they couldn’t sell tickets or benefit from home-court advantage as the playoff get closer. We really hope things won’t get that serious. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took to his Instagram stories to share his unique perspective. It’s a lot different than everything we’ve talked so far.

Tom Brady shared his take on coronavirus

Brady decided to shed some light on how he feels about the threat. This is definitely an eye-opening statement. The Patriots quarterback is right about this.

“One of the worst days so far for Coronavirus was the 10th of February. On that day, 108 persons in CHINA died of Coronavirus. BUT, on the same day… 26,293 people died of Cancer, 24,641 people died of heart disease, 4,300 people died of diabetes, and on that day, Suicide, unfortunately, took more lives than the virus did, by 28 times. Moreover, Mosquitoes kill 2,740 people every day, HUMANS kill 1,300 fellow humans every day and Snakes kill 137 people every day. Take a deep breath and wash your hands.”

People forget that thousands of people die every day. We deal with hunger, poverty, homelessness, drug addiction, and many other problems. Coronavirus is a common topic these days, but we forget that mankind deals with so many other problems.

Brady gave us something to think about. What about all the people who die of hunger? Millions of people don’t have a home.  Millions of people don’t have clean water. So many people go to bed without food.

What about cancer patients? Scientists have yet to develop an efficient cure for this plague. People die, and we can’t do anything about it.

The situation seems to be under control at the moment. Let’s see what happens next. Hopefully, things won’t get out of control. There’s no vaccine for the coronavirus, and the number of infected individuals is on the rise. According to health experts, washing our hands can help us ward off the virus.
