Tom Brady’s Father Opens Up About QB’s Relationship With Bill Belichick

Tom Brady won’t join head coach Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots in September. He will play with another team for the first time in his career. Brady signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This gives him an opportunity to prove doubters wrong. Those people say that Brady only won his titles because of Belichick’s skills. But, there are also people who say that Brady made Belichick this successful. Well, they won’t work together anymore. Brady is a Buccaneer now. Brady’s father decided to discuss the relationship between Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick.

Tom Brady Sr. appeared on a recent podcast hosted by Dell and Sonya Curry.

“Bill’s got a lot of responsibilities to keep the Patriots on track and that’s a bigger responsibility than keeping Tommy under the hood,” he said. “So, both of them are mature individuals and I really respect Bill’s decision and respect Tommy’s decision as well. It’s okay to take different paths. You don’t have to stay joined at the hip.”

The GOAT spent 20 amazing years in New England. He threw for nearly 75,000 yards and added 541 touchdown passes. Brady led the Patriot to nine Super Bowls, and won six of them. The quarterback has got four Super Bowl MVPs and three NFL MVPs in his resume.

“I mean, I can’t tell you the hundreds of times that Tommy has said Bill is the best coach in football,” Brady Sr. added. “Tommy sings Bill’s praises.”

Some talked about the alleged tension between Brady and his coach. But these two have nothing but words of praise for each other. Brady is grateful for all the things he learned from Belichick. The coach is grateful for everything Brady has done for the team. He knows that the quarterback will have luck with the Bucs too.
