Watch: Every Missed Dunk From LeBron James

Dunks are definitely a thing in the basketball world, but even the great LeBron James has missed a few. Can you imagine seeing LeBron miss a wide-open dunk? No one can believe that.

There’s a compilation of all the dunks LeBron has missed in his professional basketball career. Each of these missed shots felt like a stab in our back. LeBron is the greatest of all times but sure knows how to make doubters talk.

A missed dunk doesn’t mean a thing for LeBron

Let’s discuss LeBron’s missed dunk in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Late in the third quarter of the game, we all enjoyed a nice moment.  Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love secured a rebound and decided to crank an outlet pass down the court. Next, we see LeBron.  The king had three Boston Celtics defenders trailing behind him. There was nothing but open space in his path toward the rim.

LeBron jumped up for a one-handed shot, but he missed it. The great LeBron James missed a breakaway dunk. The ball clanked off the rim and went up in the air. Boston players grabbed the rebound and went back down the court.

Legendary play-by-play announcer Marv Albert was shocked. He couldn’t believe that LeBron missed the dunk. He gasped on the TV broadcast. King James missed the dunk.

Well, LeBron likes to joke about this. He has missed a few dunks in his career, and he is perfectly fine with that.

“I’ve missed a couple of dunks in my career,” LeBron said after the Cavaliers’ 112-99 win against the Boston Celtics. “I think I’ve made more than I’ve missed, though, so the percentages are pretty good.”

Well, he is human after all. LeBron has won three titles and he won’t go home without a fourth championship win. However, he may not get the chance to win the title this season. The NBA season is suspended, and players won’t hit the floor in the near future.

LeBron put up some great numbers this season. He leads the NBA in assists. LeBron was on a good way to win the NBA MVP award. But, everything can happen in a few weeks.
