Watch: LeBron Enjoys Wine Sessions During Coronavirus Outbreak

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is off to Wakanda. The coronavirus rings the alarm, and the WHO has declared coronavirus pandemic. The NBA decided to suspend the regular season for 30 days. This means that NBA players have plenty of free time for their hobbies and favorite activities. For LeBron James, it means long wine sessions.

The three-time NBA champion took to his Instagram stories and shared a short video of his wine sessions. Let’s not forget that he was looking for a wine partner yesterday. The coronavirus is too serious to be ignored, and everyone has to stay home. That’s why LeBron decided to sip his favorite wine.

King James is a wine connoisseur. He really likes red wine. LeBron talks about his love for red wine during press conferences. He also uses it to settle bets and toasts with it to his All-Star friends. LeBron’s vintages of choice run $300-$500 a bottle.

“LeBron’s got somebody really good in his corner telling him which wine to drink,” says DLynn Proctor. He appeared in the 2012 documentary Somm.

“He must love cabernets and cabernet-based blends—they’re all from top producers,” added Dustin Wilson, a master sommelier.

LeBron likes California wine

Of the seven wines LeBron and his lovely Savannah have posted on Instagram, four are cabernet and five are from the Napa Valley. That’s about an hour-and-a-half from the Golden State Warriors’ former Oracle Arena in Oakland.

According to Cedric Nicaise, a wine director at Eleven Madison Park, “it’s totally ironic” that LeBron likes California wine so much. “But there’s no good wine coming out of Ohio,” Nicaise added.

LeBron loves his red wine, and he will have plenty of time to enjoy it this month. The Lakers won’t hit the floor until April, and that leaves King James enough time to work out and hang out with the gang.

The James gang uses their free time to hang out together. They dance, watch movies and work on their iPads. Will LeBron hit the floor soon? He really misses the game. LeBron is the GOAT and he is definitely the NBA MVP candidate this season.
