Watch: LeBron James Addresses Tonight’s Duel Vs. The Clippers

The Los Angeles Lakers clinched a spot in the NBA playoffs with their win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. They will have to keep playing at this pace to lock up the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. The team also has a chance to build on “the 5.5-game” when they play the No. 2 seed LA Clippers on Sunday. LeBron and his teammates will get a chance to confront the Clippers.

“This will be competitive. We know who we are. We stack up against the best in the league. It will be two of the best teams in the world. It will be a good competition,” James told.

Kawhi Leonard’s Clippers are the only team that has beaten the Lakers twice this season. They did that in two attempts with the most recent coming on Christmas Day. Well, things have changed a lot in the last few weeks.

At the trade deadline, the Clippers traded for Marcus Morris. He is a perfect addition to the starting lineup and his 3-point shooting is great. The team also added veteran point guard Reggie Jackson.

The Lakers also added new players. They signed Markieff Morris and Dion Waiters. They also have the motivation of not at a team this season. It’s not just any team. They are their inner-city rivals.

“We never want to lose to a team all the time,” Anthony Davis said after the game on Friday. “So this game Sunday is another kind of ‘revenge game.’ We feel like we had them both games and kind of let it slip late in the game, especially on Christmas Day. So this will be a test for us, and we’re going to be ready for it.”

This will be a really good season for the Lakers. Although some say that the Clippers would be much better this season, it’s more than obvious that the Lakers will win the title this season.

How will LeBron and Davis handle the pressure in the next few weeks? Will they manage to stay this sharp? Will they win the title this season?
