Watch: LeBron James Knocks Patrick Beverley Away Like a Gnat During Clippers-Lakers Mini-Fight

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks at the Staples Center. The Los Angeles Clippers were next on the list. LeBron James’ team played the Clippers, and the king of basketball dominated in both games. The magnificent 112-103 win over the Clippers says it all. LeBron finished the game with 28 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds. But, this wasn’t his best moment of the weekend. Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley thought it would be nice if he confronted the big LeBron.

The whole “encounter” backfired quickly, and LeBron swatted him away like a bug. NBA fans had a good laugh after the hit, and we bet this will soon become the best meme shot.

Referees blew the whistle, and Beverley knocked the ball out of LeBron’s hands and put himself into his space. LeBron wasn’t really interested in this, and he just flicked him backward. Beverley tried to instigate some drama, and he was restrained by his teammates. LeBron just continued on with the game.

Patrick Beverley couldn’t stop the King

“It’s my responsibility to put this team in a position to be successful,” he said. “They look at me as a leader. And it’s my job, not only on the floor to get guys opportunities, get them great looks, but to inspire them as well. To show them that I’m not slowing down, even at this stage of my career.”

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was impressed with what he saw from the king.

“He was unbelievable,” he said. “His best weekend in a Lakers uniform, I’m assuming. I wasn’t here last year. But in my mind, this season, this was his best two-game stretch. Really just dominated — dominated — both games and helped close them out.”

LeBron’s teammates agree that this was his best weekend. He showed the world that he really deserves the NBA MVP award this season. Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo is considered favorite, but LeBron has a much better season than him. The king is going after his title, and he won’t go home without getting it. Let’s see what happens by June. Lakers fans are pretty positive about the outcome.
